My path here wasn’t always a straight line.

Before web design, my career revolved around animal care. I grew up in Ohio, then followed a longtime dream of working in marine biology in Hawaiʻi before eventually landing in the Bay Area caring for exotic and marine animals at the California Academy of Sciences. Working closely with animals taught me how to be patient, observant, adaptable, and deeply attentive to detail, qualities that still shape the way I approach design and client work today.

After nearly a decade in physically and emotionally demanding roles, my priorities began to shift. I wanted more creative ownership, more balance, and work that allowed me to combine strategy with creativity in a more sustainable way. That transition eventually led me into web design.

Looking back, the shift feels natural. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, structure, and visual storytelling. Web design became the intersection of those instincts, blending thoughtful design, problem-solving, user experience, and business strategy into work that feels both creative and purposeful.

Today, I partner with growing brands and service-based businesses to create strategic websites that feel clear, cohesive, and built with intention. My work focuses on improving perception, trust, user experience, and clarity, helping businesses present themselves more confidently online while creating digital experiences that feel aligned with the quality of their brand.

It’s not a path I could have planned, but it’s one that feels deeply aligned with how I think, create, and connect with people.
